Notes Course Description This course is aimed at new line managers who have been in a management role for 12 months or less, or as a refresher for established managers. It is designed for managers to reflect on the coaching conversations they have at work and identify strategies and techniques to ensure such conversations are effective. The workshop involves group discussion and practical exercises to practise coaching techniques. Delegates will have the opportunity to practise their coaching skills during the workshop. The workshop can be delivered to an audience of up to 16 delegates with 1 trainer.
Course Length The workshop lasts for 3.5 hours, including a 15 minute break
Materials needed Flipchart paper for trainer to capture responses Slides printed in handout form for delegates to make notes on Koosh ball
Ideal number of delegates 10 -16 Delegate seniority: Line Managers who have been in their role for 12 months or less or established line managers requiring a refresher
Venue Requirements: Room to be set up in cabaret style
Cost per head: £95 based on 12 or more delegates attending
Trainer location: UK Nationwide and International
Health warning: Please familiarise yourself with the material before delivery Prior to attending the session, delegates should be asked to prepare an example relevant to them at work that they would be willing to discuss during coaching practise
