This course is designed to introduce newcomers or re-fresh those giving feedback after an assessment or development event. The intention is to understand the principles linking feedback and behaviour change, barriers to successful feedback, how it can go wrong, and requirements for success, before taking a thorough practice at giving feedback. Areas such as structure, scene setting and question styles are covered.

Comment: This slideset is thorough and the accompanying material. Assessment and the training of assessors first-time assessors can be a daunting experience based on the fragile nature of feedback and human behaviour. The written material and practical exercises address the humanistic side of feedback well. Great set of slides for a refresher of current assessors also.
