This training is designed to be run with an internal sales force that needs basic training around people skills, also called soft skills training. It assumes that the technical knowledge about the product is in place or being trained in another session. Some staff new to sales will benefit greatly by learning the basics. Other experienced staff that have been selling for awhile but has not received formal training in sales will also benefit from learning the basics.
The follow up session to this one, Success With Selling – Beyond the Basics, is advanced training for the seasoned sales staff that needs additional ideas to get their production moving
